Lift is an important transport and communication facility. It has drawn more and more attention to assure the safe operation of lifts, in which the structural safety is the primary requirement, so many manufacturers are introducing finite element analysis of lift structure. The serialized structure features of lift require special finite element analysis system to avoid a mass of repetitive operations and improve analysis efficiency.ANSYS is one of the most common finite element analysis software in the world. It has powerful finite element analysis functions and is applied in structure analysis widely. Moreover, it has good openness and second development functions such as APDL,UIDL and UPFs.This subject targeting the lift of CV320 series in Shanghai Toshiba Elevator Co., Ltd. applies the second development functions of ANSYS to develop the parameterized lift finite element analysis system elementarily. ANSYS Parameter Design Language (APDL) is the nuclear technique for the second development of ANSYS. This paper illuminates the development of the parameterized module with the example of CROSHD. To realize the parameterized module, we build template analysis process at first, then arrange corresponding log document, introduce parameterized variable, and apply program flow control command of APDL such as judgement statement and loop statement.Simple custom interface can be developed by User Interface Design Language (UIDL) of ANSYS. And the characteristic of this subject is just that the parameters needed to input are simple and perspicuous. With the sample of CROSHD again, this paper illuminates how to realize the design of interface module of lift analysis system by calling UIDL control document from ANSYS and editing menu control document and dialog control document. Finally with the example of standard model of type P13 and nonstandard rail distance model of type P10 of SHEAV-C separately, the parameterized lift finite element analysis system is proved to be able to avoid a mass of repetitive operations and improve...
