| With the development of our society, it is not enough for products to merely satisfy the functional demands of people, more attention must be paid to consumers'aesthetic needs, which poses higher requirements for industrial design. The essential role of industrial design is to solve the problems of form beauty in products. That is why we should use industrial design as a key to meet consumers'material and spiritual demands.Construction machinery product is a sort of large-scale mechanical equipment. It looks as if there is no need to focus on its form beauty. So some domestic construction machinery companies lay particular stress on function and structure, not industrial design. This is the prime cause of being less competitive in same industry at aboard. In a word, industrial design is the most powerful mean to reverse the situation.Based on industrial design and relevant researches, this paper divides industrial design procedure to many related sections. Those sections are as follow: market research, design navigation, design orientation, design finalizing, and design evaluation. Using eye tracker technique and Analytic Hierarchy Process(short for AHP), this paper explores the industrial design measures to improve construction machinery products, in the purpose of establishing a thorough and scientific construction machinery industrial design procedure.The construction machinery industrial design procedure established by this paper is intended to solve two main issues as follow:(1) How to design the modeling of construction machinery(2) How to evaluate industrial design of construction machineryIn order to solve these problems, this paper establishes a construction machinery industrial design procedure, which works step by step. Each step has its own object and characteristics. Furthermore, this paper uses the idea of modularization and eye tracker to assist the construction machinery industrial design procedure. And in this thesis, the design evaluation system will be brought into the procedure, the Analytic Hierarchy Process will be used to evaluate the modeling design, in order to make the result scientific, objective, and quantified. This paper is a sub-project of postdoctoral subject, supported by Shandong University and Lingong Construction Machinery Company Co. Ltd. Through spot investigation at the plant area, I collect many useful data, which is helpful to the research. The procedure is used in the practical design projects, which is specifically discussed in this paper. |
