As the global population increase continuously and the scale of the city expands gradually, the collection and the disposal of garbage has become the common problem facing the cities from all over the world currently. For many years, the traditional, manual garbage collection and transportation methods which lead to many problems such as: the occupation of the land resources, the foul odor, the noise pollution, the breeding bacteria and the secondary pollution have been unable to meet modern people's demands on the environment and health. Included in The Outline of the Plan for the Reform and Development of the Pearl River Delta, the construction of Guangzhou International Bio-island now becomes a major construction project in Guangdong and will be an important base of the development of biotechnology research and industrialization in Guangzhou city even Guangdong province, as well as an important carrier of provincial or ministry cooperation on research in the biological field and an eco-industrial park and pilot district of recycling economy. Since the current garbage collection and transportation methods cannot apply to the high-level requirements of the construction of bio-island, we need to search another garbage collection and transportation methods which is more advanced and environmental, therefore, to introduce the enclosed garbage collection can be a fundamental solution to this problem in the construction of bio-island. With a history of more than 40 years, the system which has been applied to many countries and cities at home and abroad before is technological-innovative and reliable.Referring to the assessments to references, evidences of practical application and a variety of data collection records, the research in the paper implement the research in the feasibility of Underground Automated Waste Collection Systems in Bio-island by Comprehensive use of various methods. The search in the paper firstly introduce the project background and analysis the project status by using social, technological, economic and political (STEP) analysis methods as well as Advantages and disadvantages of the project - an opportunity threat analysis (SWOT) analysis method. From a technical maturity, equipment and selection of points of view, the research focuses on engineering technology programs and testing the feasibility of technical methods. After implementing financial analysis by using NPV analysis method and Analysis and evaluation of social benefits by combining sustainable development direction, the research finally lists the potential risks and proposes risk control points to take the appropriate risk control measures to eliminate or reduce project risks.STEP, SWOT, NPV and other analysis methods are been used in the paper to adequately research the feasibility in the project's technical, economic and social aspects and to demonstrate the necessity and feasibility of the project. Therefore, this study has certain theoretical Significance and Applicable Value.
