Municipal solid waste is the inevitable result of urban activities.With the growing of generation quantities, the increasing complexity of waste composition, treatment limitations,and the impact of municipal solid waste (MSW) becomes a severe problem.Improper removal causes prominent phenomenon of the waste siege and pollution,which also leads to the increase of the cost of collection,transportation and transshipment.In the fact of a series of serious problems caused by municipal solid waste,people began to realize that the improvement and optimization of waste collection and transportation of solid waste management plays a vital role in efficient operation.This thesis applies Improved Ant Colony Algorithm to solve the optimization of the municipal solid waste collection and transportation routing.The problem of urban life waste transportation routes to the economic optimization,and the establishment of a mathematical model with time penalty function,improved ant colony algorithm to solve the model.The methods were also applied in the actual cases of MSW collection and transportation of Qingyang area in Chengdu city.The conclusions are as follows:The time window is put forward to quantify the environmental factors,the collection and transportation routing with time window model is applied to optimize the present model,the unit collection and transportation expenditure is36.87yuan per ton,comparing with the present mode,one ton garbage saves0.83yuan,every dumpcart saves1416yuan annually.The results above indicated that reasonable locating transfer facilities,establishing waste logistics distribution plan and routing plan based on the application of system optimization model would benefit for reducing the cost of management,increasing comprehensive utilization efficiency, and reducing the waste final disposal. It is a good way to gain the maximum social,environmental and economic effect. This thesis provides a solution for the optimization of municipal waste collection and transportation routing, sheds light on the scientific design and management of municipal waste collection and transportation system.
