Study On Eco-Construction Planning Of Small Town Driven By Industrialization

Industrialization and urbanization are the two interactional processes in economic development. In China, industrialization has been the basic driving force of urbanization. As the high population density, concentrated industry, continual activities of society and economy, overspreading of the city size, the crowded transportation, polluted environment and shortages of resources, the breakage of ecology etc have emerged. Therefore, eco-construction planning of small town is brought forward. It purpose to develop sustainable, stable and healthy small town with desirable environment.The actuality of the ecological characteristic which is changed in the progress of the industrial towns'development was analyzed. A study on the particularity of the intention, content and methods of the towns'eco-construction planning is researched. Three aspects of small town eco-construction planning was explored in this paper.First, the main character and the conception of small town eco-construction planning and relationship with other related planning was discussed.Second, the construction, function and character of small town ecosystem from the view of ecology was analyzed.Third, the ecumenical theories, process and means of construction of small town was discussed. Taking some typical industrialized towns in Jiangsu Province as examples, the focus is work process, content and methodology for small town eco-construction planning. The content of this paper includes ecological suitability analysis, ecological sensitiveness analysis and etc.
