With the development of urban construction, the long-span and high-rising concrete structure is increasing rapidly, and strict requirements for the design of supporting frammework and construction safety management are needed.However, collapsed accident of high-scaffold formwork occurres continuously in recent years,which results in human casualties and economic losses. So the study on design and construction safety management of high-scaffold formwork is of great significance.Based on the construction site's measurement, the statistical regularity of tubular steel formwork's Construction quality is acquired, which can be used to analysis the reliability of formwork's bearing capacity. The study of construction site investigation and reports of typical accidents cases indicated that the deficiency of theory on formwork's design, coupled with the defects of the materials used in formwork and construction management are the main causes of formwork's failure, then a analyzing system diagram on formwork's failure is suggested. Based on the test of the internal force of steel pipe support for concrete box girder's construction by surface stess gauges for two circles in different sites, the characters of bearing formwork's internal force distribution and its bearing capacity are acquired; the results indicated that two stages pouring of box girder has benefited the formwork's bearing capacity. Furthermore, the optimized design method and the main design parameter in concrete box girder's constrction is proposed.In the end, the target and mathod of safety management of high-scaffold formwork are defined, and its organization structure obligation and programe is proposed. On the basis of the aforementioned study, the construction safety checklist of formwork's construction, acceptance standard of formwork's erection and the government supervising regulation has been explained.
