| The ratio of bridges to tunnels of high-level road construction in the western mountain is very large, so a large number of soft rock back fill, high fill embankment are inevitable. From situation of the highway having been operated, a more serious problem, roadbed settlement, has been reflected. How to timely and accurately monitor the situation of roadbed settlement, and grasp the flexible deformation of the soft rock embankment? It catches a growing concern.In this paper, with the real-time, accurate and long-term objectives, the author designed wireless monitoring system of roadbed settlement based on GPRS through the sensor and wireless web technology, and it includes monitoring unit, data acquisition modules, wireless communication modules and database management unit. This system gather the real-time roadbed settlement information through monitoring unit, collect and storage data through data acquisition unit; GPRS wireless communication unit obtain the monitoring data from the data acquisition system through RS232 interface, and transmit the data to the distant computer management center to analyze, store, and display the primary collected data, then realize the aim of monitoring the situation of roadbed settlement constantly. According to data collected during the construction period and after the construction period, the health situation of roadbed can be worked out, and then the author explores the flexible deformation of the rock embankment, to provide the scientific basis for the future construction of the highway in the same geological environment.The design and application of this system not only has the practical but also the important scientific significance. It will promote and develop the digital and intelligent road works. |
