Approach To Effect Of Digital Technology On Architecture Design

If as digital technology only a tool,which brought effect on architecture design will stay on the tool levels.In this paper,the writer tried to explore how the science and technology developed under the push of the digital technology meanwhile to find how the change of people's behavior and consciousness even the change of philosophy and world view could brought effect on architecture design in this information age.On the details,from cognition of architecture objects to evolvement of new architecture design methods and procedure,we will expatiate how the architecture design from sketch thinking to parametric thinking.Based on the development of science and technology based on the computer science,we proposed digital subsistence and pushed human society into newly information era and build"City of Bits"in the cyber world.Since 1950's,the western philosophy,the science of the artificial,complexity science and development of various science affect the subject of architecture,buildings and architecture design.Look into architecture,which affected objects we are used to design----space of the real world,also vanished and changed the traditional functions during the using process. It may cooperate and interchange between cyber space and real space.The parametric design inherits and develops the traditional design through a method like analysis of original information----procedure writing----stochastic creation----exchange guide----finalize the design.Our thinking ways of architecture design also could transit from planar sketch thinking ways to three dimensional parametric thinking ways.
