In CCD detection, the design of driving circuit for high speed CCD is one of key technology in target acquisition of CCD camera successfully. Different CCD has the different drive timing. It is always a cyclical and often more complex pulse signal, and should be matched to the appropriate drive which can achieve the optimal performance. CCD therefore must be based on the different timing to design different drive circuit. This article analyses the number of common CCD driven timing, and summarizes some of the conventional CCD driver circuit methods.A Data Acquisition System based on CCD is proposed in this thesis. The signals that are transmitted from the physical detectors by fibers are detected and stored in the CCD device. Every pixel in the device can serve one physical detector, so one CCD device can serve many physical detectors at the same time. The signals stored in the CCD are then read out one by one in the serial pattern, one ADC can serve one CCD device and then the large amount of physical detectors, which are all served by the same CCD device. In such arrangement of the data acquisition system, the complexity of the electronics system has been reduced in a large scale.Chapter 1 brings up with a summary which based on a linear array of the high-speed CCD camera system outlined, and introduces the relevant background and system design diagram.Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 are the most important chapters in this thesis. Both CCD with the choices of the CCD drivers and a system diagram of the Data Acquisition System which based on CCD are demonstrated in the two chapters, which also detail the function of each module and the realization of the program.Chapter 4 is in a brief account of the power system design.Chapter 5 gives some problems in the design. And some opinions are given to improve the performance of the system.
