As a system of sub-systems,the linear array underwater acoustic measuring systemwhich was dragged by delivery platform needs to measure the moving trajectory ofunderwater target, to communicate with other subsystems, to record measurements and soon.This paper mainly focus on how to achieve these tasks.The hardware platform designed by this paper, including three parts: the analog signalconditioning module, the digital signal processing and communication control module andthe synchronization signal generation module. The main function of the analog signalconditioning module is to inhibit common-mode interference mixing with differential signalwhich was generated by the linear Array, amplify differential signal, filter clutter, isolatesignal using optocoupler; the main function of digital signal processing and communicationcontrol module whose core is OMAPL137is to change analog signal into digital signal byAD chip, process digital signal by OMAPL137’s DSP core, communicate with othersubsystems by Ethernet using the OMAPL137’s ARM core, record intermediatemeasurements; the main function of the sync signal generating module whose core isOMAPL137is to provide high-precision synchronization signal by combining withhigh-precision oven-controlled crystal which has no random error and GPS second pulsewhich has no cumulative errorFirst,the paper presents the technologies of the underwater acoustic measurementplatform briefly, then presents the derivation and description of the hardware design indetail.base on the completetion of the hardware design,I programed the interface of theDSP core; builded the Linux system on the ARM core, programed driver for the dual-corecommunication and the LAN communication of the system, etc.; besides these,I programedcontrol timing logic using VHDL for the FPGA. Finally, I tested the overall function of the.System.The hardware platform design of the measuring system by the paper was completelysucessful in the lake and sea experiment, and achieved the expected design goals.
