| Urban development contains rational element and a great measure of irrational or accidental element as well. Urban problems may appear not noticeable when a city remains in a small scale. But to a city of thickening urban areas, which has dense spatial and material gathering and a large population, crisis will emerge since its spatial structure and urban morphology are based at the traditional spatial theory or construction method. Thus, new ideas and methods are in great need. The eco-spatial structure is the macro-regulation and control in positioning the urban spatial elements, which determine the successful functioning of the urban landscape ecology and the morphology of the whole system. Its primary objectives are uniting all kinds of ecological land rationally and closely, forming the spatial system which contains organic combination of both urban and rural elements, making the landscape ecology function properly, and purchasing the synchronized planning and interactive development of spatial structure of urban eco-space and the urban space. Then, the study on optimizing urban eco-spatial structure plays a great role in forming and improving ecological environment in urban area. This planning theory will be helpful in rectifying the ecological omissions in the current spatial planning system, and it is also a mark of the innovation and development in the urban planning theories.Based on the summarizing and analyzing the theories of urban eco-spatial structure , combined with the empirical work on related cases of Changsha City, this thesis analyzes its connotative characteristics, constituent elements and features of current pattern. Besides, the paper aims at searching for scientific approach and measures of optimizing the urban eco-spatial structure, to enrich the theory and method system of urban space, and to provide dierction and suggestion for the optimization of the spatial structure of urban landscape ecology in other cities. This thesis covers five chapters. The first one is the introduciton, which interprets the bachground, projectives, significance, contents, mathod, technological path and the field of research. The second chapter provides theoretical fundation and the study on typical cases, supporting by the the theories of the eco-spatial structure and typical cases both at home and abroad. The next one is the chapter of analysis, discussing the pattern in the following aspects: reginal environment background, constituent elements, pattern features and the relationship with the evolution of urban spatial morphology. Based on the analysis, this part also gives all-around evaluation of the urban eco-spatial structure. Suggestionsand solution can be seen in the fourth chapter. Applying the problem-directed thinking and objectives-directed thinking, the author proposes specific suggestion for the optimization, from two aspects perspectively: the pattern of urban eco-spatial structure and the constituent elements. The last chapter provids a summary of the conclusion of this thesis, pointing out the issues need further discussion and the direction for deeper study. |
