It is necessary to manage the keys in power plant, museum, apartment and office building. So many keys management systems are widely used, such as keys management system based on one-wire and fingerprint identification keys management system etc. Because considering the domestic design cost, there are some disadvantagements in used keys management systems, such as difficulty of fault detection, low reliability and low sensitivity when the host computer acquires the data of the single chip machine. It is inconvenient to the manager. At the same time foreign systems are expensive, keys supervisory system based on TM card can solve the problem above, it is designed for keys management of control cabinet in power plant. It not only has high reliability, safe and efficient keys management, but also save cost of development, be provided with high practicability.The system contains keys supervisory cabinet system and data base management system. The introduction of keys supervisory cabinet system contains two parts: supervisory cabinet hardware system and design of software programme. Through the introduction of hardware of supervisory system, the complete keys supervisory cabinet appear to reader by parts, introduce warning circuit, keyboard and electromagnetic lock circuit, reading TM card number circuit, LCD display circuit and real-time clock circuit. keys supervisory cabinet system and data base management system communication by CAN bus, comparing to other bus, data transmission of CAN bus has the advantagements of reliability, timeliness and flexibility. Because of the good performance and unique design, CAN bus get widespread availability.Keys supervisory system data base management system discusses design thoughts of keys supervisory system control interface based on VB by introducing Visual Basic developing tool characteristics and data accessing technology. Then it represents detailly to the next content: general design structure of control interface, design methods of main interface windows and another accessory interface windows, keys supervisory system data base management and inquiry method of keys information record.Finally, system development achievement is summarized. The development trend of keys supervisory system is explored.
