| This thesis studies Zhongfang historic town with the principle of geography, city sociology etc. Starting with the history and current situation of Zhongfang town, this thesis tries to discover the evolvement principle of historic town, and explore the features and connotation of the historic streets of Zhongfang town. Besides, this thesis analyses the regional characteristic of its traditional folk house, and put forward the blueprint of conservation of the historic inheritance in order to promote the sustainable development of Zhongfang town.The thesis includes 7 chapters, chapter 1 is the introduction, chapter 2 to 6 are the main part of this thesis, which respectively on the historical evolution of the town, the town space pattern, lane space, building types and their characteristics, and they presents the ideas of town protection and development of promoting tourist industry starting from culture. Chapter 7 is the conclusion.Zhongfang historic town has over one thousand years history. It origins from Jingping village, and prospers from aggregating of small fair business, and forms its own characteristic patterns because of progressive development of natural environment, transportation, economy, society and town function.Natural elements, in a certain sense, limit the outer boundary and space shape of the town. Social and economic development and town function, which have close relationship with human, gradually form Zhongfang town to a "dual-core" layout.Crossing streets, unnormal space scale, which all come from the needs of town function, and they reflect the regional culture, functional requirements and people's way of life of Zhongfang historic town.Zhongfang historic town has several types of buildings. Warehouse space for housing is one of the architectural features of this town and Menfang meets people's psychology needs of privacy. This thesis makes a conclusion of architecture features of Zhongfang historic town and analyses its low-Technical means to bring new thoughts to contemporary architecture design and energy-saving design.As the birthplace of "Wushui Culture", Zhongfang historic town has an extensive geographic location. Besides, it has unique pattern of dual-core space structure, wide streets and lanes, warehouses, thick culture and abundant historic monuments, which should all be protected. Tourism should also be developed based on protection to relive this historic town. |
