With development of the society economy and the urbanization process, the Xiang Tan City in central region,as a typical small and medium-sized city, owns a good historical and cultural background. It formed some characteristic having the certain industrial city in the course of industrialization afer the founding. And it becomes establishing experiment area of "two type " society in the current new round of reform. Study on the living pattern and living space in Xiangtan city has representative and common significance to exploring them of small and medium-sized cities in central region.The evolution and development of living pattern and living space is a slow dynamic process, which is effected from the factors such as natural, economic development, cultural background and social system, and so on. The evolution and development of urban living pattern in China can be divided into five stages ,which are closed "mode in the Square," open "street model", hybrid divided "exotic model", the same fusion of "units compound model," diversification "Residential Quarters model". With the advent of information society and the awakening ecological consciousness the living pattern is also in the diversity and develops as a diversity, ecological and proper pattern .It is more important that we implement comprehensively people-oriented planning ideas and remodele a new pattern of living space.Through some methods such as fact investigation, collecting literature, real shooting and so on, this article classifies and studies the living pattern and living space in Xiangtan city and analyze them from some aspects such as material form, development and evolution and spatial distribution. This article sorts the living model in different historical stages in Xiangtan city into three categories: the first is traditional city proper along river; the second is the welfare system after the founding and the last is under the market economy. On this basis I analyze the form and evolution process of the living pattern and living space in Xiangtan city,and explore its meaning and connotation to bring up the close relationship between evolution of living pattern and way of life, urban fabric, the political and economic, which has not only dynamic process of continuous change and accumulation in a period , but also relative stability .It has adaptation and rationality when it displays the static process toward temporary adaptation of social needs and living behavior at that time.We research on living space' effective state of the dwellers in Xiangtan city on the basis of analysis and organization on the living space through some means such as questionnaires, environment and behavior observation, interviews and so on. This article focuses on living life of the dwellers in Xiangtan city in the period of social transition and analyze their living conditions and living space of the workers' living room and geopolitical and geo-industry .I expound the living condition of the dwellers in Xiangtan city from urban living entity, neighbourhood space, recreational space, commercial space, and so on.By intercept perspective from the urban life style and its attachment space I explore the mutual relations of living pattern, shape and the space environment. The article places the development of living space between the urban development process and historical background of the social structure evolution. And I probe the origin of all kinds of living space to grasp truly inherent origin and history lifeline the development of the urban living space and provide evidence for the theoretical study and practice. I analyze synchronicly the impact and interaction the political,economic, social and cultural, humanistic environment and other factors on the living space to grasp fully and poundly the internal mechanism of the living space development.This paper puts out some the existing problems on living space of the old city and old industrial areas in west of Xiangtan city and living space building of the new city in east and gives thought how to change the current unreasonable living space in order to enhance the quality of life and put forward the corresponding scientific and reasonable measures. From the perspective of living space, the paper searches structure and spirit of urban living space,conceives development direction and the principles and strategies of creating a living space of living pattern in Xiangtan "two type" city, creates harmonious and healthy urban living patterns, and brings out construction planning and design methods of urban living space and the main points of reconstruction of living space. |
