The Research On The Resort Community Design

Resort community, a new type community, has its orientation and character. It has been built in our country, and has good outlook in market. But it is deficient in theoretical research. This paper tries to look for a method which is suitable to the resort community building in our country, and provide some support and reference for the relative project.Taking the resort community as the research object on the base of New Urbanism, this paper expounds the process and existing situation of them. Learning from the central theory of New Urbanism, the author summarizes the design method which is useful for our country's resort community. Based on that, and according to the characteristics of resort community, this paper adopts corresponding design methods of New Urbanism to introduce the concrete strategies of space layout, environment integration, culture inheritance, resource disposal and continuous development etc. for resort community. Then the author puts forward a series of control methods of resort community, and hopes it can supply with some new thoughts and methods which can be used for reference.At the last chapter, take the project participated by the author as the case support and practice responding. The project is named"Planning of flavor town in Lu Huitou, Sanya". According to the actual requirement, the building intention and the orientation of this project, the author points out the conformable planning thread and conception, apply the corresponding design method, and then introduce the way of building resort community in our taking the form of project case.
