According to the request of developing economy society in our country, the system of heating charge will gradually transit to the thermal energy measurement charge. The existing calorimeter mainly uses the measuring technique of the traditional water meter, because of its low measurement accuracy and the short life-cycle, this kind of calorimeter cannot satisfy the request of accuracy and reliability to the thermal energy measurement.Considering the present situation of development of the calorimeter, the dissertation has researched and proposed the calorimeter's technique scheme which based on the ultrasonic measuring technique and met the actual demand of our country. Firstly, it has represented the general design of technique scheme of the calorimeter which based on the ultrasonic measuring technique, and accomplished research and concrete implementation of the key technique, and proposed the new survey method of time-interval of the ultrasonic specially. Secondly, it has designed the calorimeter system which based on 16 bit low power single chip microcomputer MSP430F413, and completed the hardware circuit's implementation of the calorimeter system. Finally, it has accomplished the software control flow's design of the whole system and the programming, and carried on the debug of each part and the whole system.This dissertation mainly used high-accuracy survey chip TDC-GP2 which imbedding time-interval logic measuring technique andПpipeline technique which extending the distance of dissemination of the ultrasonic to upgrade the dissemination time-interval measurement accuracy of ultrasonic to nanosecond., and reduced the system power by the switch of system working pattern. The calorimeter which based on the ultrasonic measuring technique is advanced in technology and financially feasible through the testing demonstration. The calorimeter may solve the problem of the flow measurement and the thermal energy measurement well, and the accuracy and the reliability are also increased. The calorimeter may meet China's present situation of the calorimeter, so the research and realization of the calorimeter which based on the ultrasonic measuring technique had the great practical significance.
