Design Of Ultrasonic Heatmeter Based On Tdc-gp2 And Msp430

As the development of the need of heat measuring,the measuring and charging method of the west beacames more and more popular in our country.But, the imported heat meter is too expensive to be popularized. So new heat meter must be designed according to the situation of our country Bescause it is a new industry to us, there is a great gap between our products and the ones imported.The purpose of this project is to design a low-power comsuing heat meter using the new TDC-GP2, which is designed by ACAM, and MCU MSP430F413 which is designed by TI, and TSS721A,which is interface for MS-BUS.The main content of the thesis is as follows:Firstly, elaborated the principle of the ultrasonic flowmeter, and the heat caculating method based on enthalpy D-value and heat coefficient is illustrated and proved as well as the density correction. The method based heat coefficient i s used in this project. And the density correction equation of heat coefficient is proved in order to give a theorical foundation to the heat caculating function of the software sytem.Secondly, the characters of TDC-GP2,and MSP430F413,and TSS721A and its application in the project are stated, common temperature sensors and Ultrasonic Transducer and illustrated futhermore.Thirdly, hardware electrocircuit for the project is designed, hardware electrocircuit includes circuit of temperature information collection, the flux counting, connection LCD connectjon,the simple button, MBus communication interface is preserved in order to extend the hardware system To the software designing, this thesis gives the designing thoughts and the flow diagrams including hardware electrocircuit.Finaly, software system of the project is designed. Software system includes program of temperature information collection, the flux information collection, LCD showing, read and write TDC-GP2, the heat caculating. This thesis gives the designing thoughts and the flow diagrams including all importance programs.Generally, the basic designing of heat meter is illustrated and proved in the article.Hardware and software systems are designed for the product and tested in experiment.
