As energy shortage, environment pollution is more and more serious, the calls to reform the traditional heating method are going strong. China is actively promoting the new heating method, which is central heating, metering by household and charge by the amount. And the demand for home calorimeters is greatly increased. Because of its excellent features, ultrasonic calorimeter is the best choice for home Calorimeter.The poor quality of the hot water in our heating pipes requires calorimeter has a good performance.But the research work of calorimeter in our country starts relatively late, and existing technology of ultrasonic calorimeter is not yet mature. In this paper, according to the actual situation of calorimeter in our country, I designed a kind of good performance of household low-power ultrasonic calorimeter.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several kinds of ultrasonic calorimeter measuring pipeline structure that the current commonly used, I chose the suitable ultrasonic calorimeter measuring tube structure. And optimized the structure of the measuring tube through the Fluent simulation calculation.In order to ensure the accuracy of measurement and to achieve low power consumption system, Hardware circuit of ultrasonic calorimeter is composed of MSP430F4152microcontroller and TDC-GP2, which is high precision time measurement chip. After programming, the hardware realized the measurement function.In order to solve the problem of power supply, I designed a temperature difference power generation circuit for ultrasonic calorimeter. The temperature difference power generation circuits can convert the heat of hot water that in the heating pipelines into electricity. And the low voltage can be rised by LTC3108booster circuit. And the rised voltage can be used by ultrasonic calorimeter.The super capacitors are used as the energy storage component of the emperature difference power generation circuit. So the electricity from temperature difference power generation can be used reasonably. In this way, the ultrasonic calorimeters can be powered by themselves.
