Heat-metering is a heating mode which can save energy by the adjusting of residents. The replacement of traditional heating by heat metering is strengthened. This reform will be advanced under the situation that the energy saving requirement is improved, the economic reform is perfected, and the demand of thermal comfort.Central heating system with heat metering is variable flow, which directly causes the hydraulic balance more difficult. So, the research on the valve performance that fit for the variable flow system is special important. At the same time, a justice and reasonable heat metering and charging is needed, because it may give a macroscopic directing to the people's behavioral adjustment.The analysis is made on the variable flow system that fit for heat metering, as well as the valve which induces the hydraulic balancing easier. The relations among the factors like the pressure drop in the terminal unitΔPL, the pressure drop across the circuit H and flow Q are worked out in terms of the construction and adjusting characteristic. And the theoretic is deduced through experiment, else the factors of scale band and adjustable ratio are proposed, as well as the valid range. However, a minimal controllable flow value is needed if the adjustable ratio can be seen as a parameter to certify the capacity of differential pressure controllers.Through the calculating analysis of thermal proportional coefficient of a heating metering program, the position proportional coefficient is gained from the two-step energy-saving house. It means the analysis of the influence to heat consuming made by the position of house, so as to provide inference to the application of correction coefficient. With the energy saving degree rising and the insulting effect of building being better, the position proportional coefficient is smaller and smaller. However, in the present level of energy saving, the difference of thermal proportional coefficient at different position is broad, especially the top layer, 20% variance is existed.
