Application Of AHP In Introducing Lines Into Xiamen Terminal

Xiamen terminal spreads over Xiamen and Zhangzhou, southeast Fujian province, locates at the entrance of Jiulong River, opposites to Taiwan, neighbor with Longyan, Quanzhou in Fujian, Meizhou in Guangdong and Chaozhou-Shantou region by land. Yingtan-Xiamen railway that have already lain in the end of the terminal, and the following three railways, Fuzhou-Xiamen, Longyan-Xiamen, Xiamen-Shenzhen, will integrate here. Along with the completing of the three railways, Xiamen terminal will link up north, west and south these three orientations. Thereinto Xiamen-Shenzhen are the component of the southeast coastal passenger transport channels, one horizontal—Hangzhou-Ningbo-Shenzhen, in the "Four verticals and four horizontals" railway network.On the basis of studying the relative data about the lines introduced into Xiamen terminal ,this paper combined the relative work about Xiamen terminal which the author has engaged in, and applied the basic academic knowledge of system science,mathematics,operational reseach. This paper employed the combination approaches of model analysis and case studies, so that the theoretical reseach and pratical application were realized.In allusion to the introduction problem of newly-built lines, this paper applied the analytic hierarchy process to the plans selection of lines. With a model concerning both mathematical calculation and human experience, this approach not only maintains both merits of the mathematical optimum model and the specialist planning but also avoids the shortcomings of the two traditional approaches. With this approach, we can systematical solve a planning problem concerning both quantitative and qualitative factors, and even deal with the problem with uncertain decision-making factors and also it is easy to indicate the attitudes and biases of multi decision makers. This paper introduced the basic situation and existent shortcomings of Xiamen terminal. Elaborated the basic theory and the process; studied how to use analytic hierarchy process to the introduction plans of newly-built lines synpaper judgment. And particularly introduced the application circumstance of this approach to the two railways, Longyan-Xiamen, Xiamen- Shenzhen, from the following facets: low project investment, good technique standard and geologic condition, high economic benefit, short time limit, little disturb, and according with city planning, easy maintenance; finally got the conclusion and made feasibility analysis. As a result, this approach can fit the lines introducing to terminals, with a better applicability. Have a good trend of development.
