Evaluation Of Urban Livability In Hebei Province Based On Analytic Hierarchy Process

A city is an important place to carry human civilization and a gathering area for human production and living activities.After the 1840 s,with the explosive growth of industrial production capacity,the development of global urbanization accelerated.According to data released by the United Nations in 2019,nearly three-quarters of the world’s population will become urban residents in the next three decades.The influx of a large number of people in a short period of time will lead to urban problems such as environmental pollution,crowding,and insufficient resource supply.The development path of Chinese cities is similar.Since the reform and opening up,China made great achievements in economic construction,the scale of cities has expanded,and the momentum of urbanization has been increasing.At the same time,a series of problems such as housing shortage,traffic congestion,environmental pollution,and lack of education and health resources have followed.In response to this phenomenon,scholars at home and abroad began to seek solutions and found that improving urban livability is an effective measure to improve urban problems.Therefore,more scholars have begun to devote themselves to the study of livable cities,government departments have issued corresponding policies to carry out practical explorations of livable cities,and citizens have also actively cooperated to strive to enjoy the dividends of livable cities as soon as possible.Hebei Province is an important economic zone in North China.Cities in Hebei Province are an important part of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration,and are responsible for the historical mission of coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.How to build cities in Hebei Province into livable cities is a new era.major issues.This paper takes 11 prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province as the research object.First,by reading a large number of domestic and foreign documents,we learn the theoretical basis of livable city construction,analyze the current situation of livable city construction in Hebei Province,and apply scientific,comprehensive and quantifiable methods.Based on the three principles,combined with the "Scientific Evaluation Criteria for Livable Cities",an evaluation system of urban livability indicators in Hebei Province has been established.The system evaluates 16 indicators of cities in Hebei Province from four aspects: economic affluence,beautiful environment,convenience of life,education and medical care.Secondly,this paper uses the analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weight of each index,and calculates the livability scores of 11 prefecture-level cities in Hebei Province in2010,2015 and 2020 through the evaluation method,and then uses GIS space The analysis method is used to analyze the evolution of the spatiotemporal pattern and influencing factors of urban livability in Hebei Province,and finally draw conclusions and put forward improvement measures,which provide theoretical guidance and practical direction for urban livability construction in Hebei Province.
