Research Of RFID Technology Applied In Train Control System

Along with train running speed enhancement, in order to guarantee train running safety, the train control system need transmit lots of information between train and track. As one of the methods to transmit information between train and track, RFID technical balise is widely used in the train control system. RFID technology characteristic, principle as well as the European balise technical standard are analyzed, and then proposed a way to design European standard balise. Five modules are designed, including the aerial coupling module, the power source module, the primary control module, the modulation module and the modulation signal power enlarges module. Choosing the electronic device to design the electric circuit and developed experiments prototype according to the design proposal and balise parameters. The important part FSK signal production and DDS modulation are thoroughly researched. The hardware realization of the FSK transmitter is finished and the basic function program is written also. Test results show that the experiments prototype balise can realize basic function and the design target is obtained.
