| WIM (Weight-In-Motion) technology is widely used in many factory applications, for its advantages of fast and precise weighting. Research in this paper makes two major functional promotions, which are barcode scanning and Ethernet connecting, to the equipment of a postal WIM system in laboratory, to obtain a new type of postal intelligent equipment, which will be used for rapidly checking the naming weight of postal items in large quantities.Based on embedded processing technology, the research makes use of various hardware resources provided by ARM architecture, and different BH and lock mechanisms to solve different technical problems, considering different functional modules have alternative processing requirements.Among with others, postal item weight module and barcode scanning module are discussed emphatically to introduce the hardware and software design of the new intelligent equipment. And the outcome is shown at the end of this paper, form which we can see the designs well meet the requirements. |
