With the rapid development of Weight-In-Motion system,it is being widely used in highway count heavy charge system.At present,the demestic search precision of WIM is quite low because of lacking of experience of analysis of all kinds of factors. It's always inverse radio between speed and search precision of WIM . It's clear that WIM plays an important role in count heavy charge system.In this paper, what first introduced is the present development of WIM in and abroad. And then this paper gives some fundamental knowledge about the highway count heavy chargesystem. Thirdly the technical requirement and function of highway WIM of Henan Provinceis put forward.And we generally design the WIM equipment,in which we illustrate the weightcharge detection equipment. And the most important part of this paper is the software and hardware design and exploitation of WIM equipment, and it's clear that the design is based on TMS320F2812, which is illustrated in detail. In the design of WIM software, we lay emphasis on data acquisition module. At the end of this paper we illustrate the usage of WIM against the problem of running and overfreight, in which we mainly analysize the press-board cheating. And after that we analysize the running problem of WIM on different road surfaces. To direct at this problem, the arithmetic of data effective zone and pulse peak detection are put forward.
