The Evolution Of Spatial Structure From The Perspective Of Urban-Rural Integration

Nowadays, the income between urban and rural areas in China has been widened constantly, the opposition between urban and rural areas is still very obvious. Which has strongly restricted the sustainable development of the Chinese social economy. To solve this problem, one of the keys is orchestrating the development of economy and society between urban and rural areas, pushing forward urban-rural integration. As a theoretical problem, the urban-rural integration is also practical. It is not only one of the classical disciplines of economics, urban geography, demography, management and sociology, but also important branches of philosophy, planning study, too. Up till now, there have been already a lot of research about the urban problems, but the two-ways researches about the integration of urban and rural are very few.This paper based on the theoretical foundation of urban-rural integration, took scientific development view and sustainable development as principals, absorbed and used regional economics, urban geography to deduce and analysis the phenomena and questions about integration of urban and rural areas. The method of this paper stressed the advantage of quantitative research, adopted many kinds of mathematics method. For example, multifactor comprehensive evaluation assessment, analytic approach of main composition, analytic approach of the level and GIS technology. On the base of collecting a large number of data, taking North-east of Chongqing as the research object, incorporating theory analysis and practical research, adopting the generous census and statistics on the spot, analyzing the real state of integration of urban and rural areas of Northeast of Chongqing. Then forming a quite completely theory system which includes some reasonable countermeasures.Based on the series analysis, this paper draws the following conclusions:(1): The driving forces of urban-rural integration are the economic development level, industrialized level and the motive force factors of social population.(2): The development of urban-rural integration is different in different counties in northeast of chongqing,but the main characteristic of the urban-rural integration is weakened from counties along Yangtze river to the remote counties. It shows that the transportation network, the level of industrialization and the development of economic have the greatest influence on the level of urban-rural integration.(3): It shows that the dual economic structure determines the spatial structure of urban-rural integration; higher level of economic development and the higher level of urbanization, the higher level of urban-rural integration through series of quantitative comparative analysis(4): The urban transport network and the structure of urban space system of northeast of Chongqing need to be improved. the general level of spatial association affects the exchange of economic factors in northeast of Chongqing.(5): The integration of the urban and rural area is conducive to the spatial structure's positive evolution of landscape and conductive to intensive and efficient utilization of the land.This paper is a case study of integration of urban and rural areas in Northeast of Chongqing; it discussed the dynamical mechanism of integration of urban and rural areas. Regional process appraising, development mode, etc Based on the investigation, the corresponding countermeasures have been proposed. Finally, through the analysis of combination of the theory and practice, some new conclusions have been posed.
