Over recent 30 years of rapid economic development and urban construction in china, which making the physical form that contains the natural force, human wisdom and historical context submerged in the space of lacking regional characteristics. At the same time, the old-fashioned lanes , settlements, and commercial streets in the city seemingly ordinary, put on the transformation of new faces in the area, so that the memory and incident of the original stay in the past. City's future has become blurred and confused. Urban texture is the media for human's enjoyness and awareness of the city. Through the numerous and complicated image, it shows a vivid picture of urban life behind the urban texture which contained all about time, incidents and feelings, and it associated with the past, interpreted now. So through the search on urban texture in-depthly and comprehensivly, the author tried to study and find out the relationship in history, present and future. As a result, the paper research on the urban texture from the perspective of urban planning, by analysing the relationship in city function, city structure, city form and urban texture at the macroscopic, medium and microcosmic level, suggest that planning layout should respond to the intention characteristic of tradition urban texture which makes the future city become the place having history feeling , the regional characteristic and delighting of life.
