Research On The Simultaneous Engineering And Computer Aided Design Of Car Body

Along with the more and more competity in car market ,people's growing requirement of car outlook and interior quanlity,also with the shorter life of a car cycle and sooner upgrade of a new development market ,it ask for high research levelsof car body ,which means it should be able to develop a product that has market potential in shortest period .As the computer technics far rapid progress, the car reserch and development way gradually turns from traditional handwork drawing to Computer Aided Design(CAD), and from previous tandem to nowadays parallel development, this calls for the communication and process combination of manpower resource, engineering technics, project management and all the process of design and manufacture. The car body design of computer aided engineering and simultaneous engineering is simultaneously processing with internal and external modeling of vehicle,calculation for layout,establishment of car body construction,construction design,structural analysis by computer aided methods and engineers in special field of car body.To find problem or simplify the complex question as sooner as possible during the designing process,and feedback information immediately,so design department can modify at times and shorten the modifier of mould,developing periods.The simultaneous engineering and Computer Aided Design(CAD) are used widely in the development of car body or entire car in foreign countries amd the development performance is very rapid , the development of product earns obvious progress ,it was also used in the development in domestic corporation.. but it is not deep that applying the simultaneous engineering to solve all the design points and engineering technics in car body design by the numbers.Combining with car body design practice of a minicar,the research subject brings up car body design of the simultaneous engineering and Computer Aided Design ,also bring up my opinion of this thesis. Starting with wide market survey , establishing the chasis data the design work both begin in the two ways cotaining car body,chasis and body accessories . The car body department and chasis department should communicate with each other to ensure the exactly of the hardpoint ,and communicate with suppliers to erase unnecessary misunderstanding and conflicting.
