Through artificial art processing and creation, it integrates building, landscape and water together, combine natural beauty with artificial beauty, thus form the unique characteristics of garden construction. the Tang Dynasty garden have formed their unique cultures,and its rock art had a tremendous impact to future generations as well as Japanese garden.The rock art in Tang Dynasty garden we mean mainly art of rochery arrangement in Tang(AD618-AD907) dynasties, it is still followed the Qin and Han Dynasties "a pool of three mountains"-style, but integrated into the Tang period of painting, poetry, calligraphy and other art forms, and the rock art in Tang Dynasty garden is an artistic representation of rockeries and waters in the natural. The rock art in Tang Dynasty garden using abstract, symbolic and other practices, to imitate and reduce the natural mountains shift-in the garden, to reproduce the small space in the garden, and combine construction, water, vegetation and other organic elements, compose a stereo picture full of natural graceful bearing. The main characteristics of the rock art in Tang Dynasty garden is "simple", "big", "display of single", dry rock and rock with water, the rock as the construction of the liner.Mitating tang dynasty literati impressionistic gardens much a lot, Japanese garden's stone developed on the basis of Tang Dynasty garden. Its essence is the art of Tang Dynasty garden idea. This paper explores main features of Tang Dynasty garden stone scenery on the view of Japanese garden's stone in Heian Period. The common characteristics between the early Japan garden stone scenery and Tang Dynasty garden stone scenery reflected on: the meaning of Zen Buddhism; the way of purchase stone, multi-lateral and less vertical. The selection of stone pays attention to the simple appearance.Based on the case of tang style garden stone scenery researched by Prof. Tong Yu-zhe in xi'an university of architecture and technology. The paper summarized the "cross striation and vertical bricklaying " manipulation of Tang Dynasty garden stone scenery according to "texture feature" of Finial South Mountain stone, proposed by Prof. Tong. The research of Tang Dynasty garden stone scenery can provide related theory basis for the stone scenery design in modern city garden. |
