Studies On Landscape Architecture Of Creative Industry Parks In Shanghai And Hangzhou

The creative industry park has been so prevailed in China nowadays. The city of Shanghai and Hangzhou are two of the representative cities which have been ahead of most other cities, the construction of creative industry park seems to be in kilter. So far, Shanghai has constructed 77 creative industry parks which have been recognized by the local government, Hangzhou has constructed or being planning to construct 10 creative industry parks.The creative industry parks in Shanghai and Hangzhou has been in large scale and the landscape architecture of them is in stable situation. This thesis generally introduces the relative concepts which associated with creative industry park, the developing of creative industry park in Shanghai and Hangzhou. Though investigate of them, and the reading of literatures in the area, the writer classifies the landscape architecture types into post-industrial landscape, historic district landscape, business district landscape, roof garden, urban open space landscape and courtyard landscape, accompanying the representative examples of each style which contains the background, location, analysis of landscape design and landscape characteristic.With the classifying, this thesis studies the landscape architecture of creative industry park separately, such as the influence of post-modern art, the landscape space characteristics and the landscape elements containing architecture, road, the landscape constructions and the plants. Based on the analysis, the thesis concludes three landscape patterns of creative industry parks in Shanghai and Hangzhou: the partially conservation of the old field landscape and partially renewed pattern; wholly or partially conservation the buildings and the new design landscape pattern and the new landscape pattern. Meanwhile, the thesis indicates the characteristics of each pattern and the objects which adapt to the pattern. At last, the thesis introduces the new thoughts, the color design in landscape andthe architecture stand-lay effect to the vertical landscape, and discusses the heritage protect and ecological design of creative industry parks in Shanghai and Hangzhou. Though the construction of creative industry parks in Shanghai and Hangzhou has presented in good tendency, however whether they will develop in good condition depends only on the development of creative economy, but also associated with art and artists. And the landscape which is regenerated on the industrial place has brought the design spirit of economical and sparing, and should be regarded high and advocated. Whether creative industry parks in Shanghai and Hangzhou will sustain ofthe check of time is still unsure, and the development of them needs more attention.
