A POE Research On Vest-pocket Parks At Central District In Hangzhou City

To explore how pocket parks meet visitors,POE theory was used to study pocket parks in downtown area of Hangzhou.POE was performed using observational approach of behavioral annotation and questionnaire method of SD evaluation.The basic status and location were analyzed,and basic information and appearance characteristics were asked.Using characteristics was observed,including daily quantity,activity types,spatial and temporal distribution,and analysis of the correlation between factors and overall evaluation on the basis of satisfaction evaluation was made.Here followed the main results.1)Basic research: From the definition,classification and function,the basic theory of existing urban pocket parks was further improved in China.Combined the current domestic green space classification to divide the pocket park,summary of research progress on urban pocket parks at home and abroad in recent years was made.2)Survey results: The basic status and location were analyzed,and basic information and appearance characteristics were asked.Using characteristics was observed,including daily quantity,activity types,spatial and temporal distribution,and analysis of the correlation between factors and overall evaluation on the basis of satisfaction evaluation was made.3)Questions and suggestions: Based on existing urban parkland,pocket parks were built by government or non-government organizations and deeply influenced by factors such as natural environment and urban location.The existing problems included lack of regulations in construction,lack of promotion of policies,unreasonable space allocation,lack of basic facilities,and inadequate management.The following suggestions were made for these issues.(1)Abandon existing prejudices and regulate the pocket park;(2)Pay attention to the use of demand and promote the pocket park;(3)Pay attention to the use of functions and rationally allocate space;(4)Coordinate with municipal facilities and rationally arrange facilities;(5)Government fund support and implementation of management responsibilities.
