Study On The Design Of Media Center In Contemporary City

As a product of multiple culture development of modern times, 'Media Center' has become a new cultural architecture form promoting active influence on city life.Based on the study of contemporary cultural architecture development in the city, this article introduces the idea of ' Media Center in Contemporary City' with architecture concept paraphrase and relevant theories. After the analysis and conclusion of four major architecture characters, place, space, function and form, this paper has brought forward its core, the design strategies for Contemporary City Media Center, from three aspects: city, times and culture. Following the principle of combing theoretical discussion with case study, this paper has made judgment on modern city cultural center of China and put forward the related suggestions, with the hope to enlighten architectural creation and practice.
