From that point, explore the combination method of terrain and culture can guide the planning and design.This paper focus on the relationship between landscape and culture, and cultural metaphor contained by terrain, studying the antecessor abundant cultural landscape experience in typology ways, exploring the space conception and characteristics of construction activity under the influence of traditional Chinese culture from the Bionic, philosophical and cultural insight, from which we can get the symbolic form, artistic conception and rational thinking from the above-mentioned three aspects as design inspiration. And then looking into the classic cases of modern planning and design how the association of terrain and culture do works with design.Looking back, we found much remarkable cultural landscape indispensable used the means of"paraphrase association", more specifically, interpret the terrain vicariously, with council deduction, and explored ways in using cultural terrain based on paraphrase association" from the aspects of medium association, image association, cultural association, and logic associated.
