Study On Traffic Impact Analysis Of Large-scale Public Building Project In Urban Center

With the acceleration of urban construction, the large-scale public building projects to be developed become more and more. The large amount of traffic demand that the project newly generates leads to the level of traffic service of urban centre degrade and brings many traffic problems thereby. Traffic impact analysis for large-scale public building project in urban center is an effective means to solve this contradiction.Based on the deep analysis of the traffic characteristics of both urban center and large-scale public building, this paper studies the essential problems of traffic impact analysis for large-scale public building project in urban center. Then this paper presents a method to determine the target year and peak time. This paper also gives the method to determine threshold for traffic impact analysis. This paper puts forward using cloud model and classification attracting rate method to determine the traffic impact area. Besides, the traffic demand is divided into background traffic volume and project traffic volume to be forecast respectively. This paper also uses the four-stage method to forecast the project traffic volume.In order to determine the traffic impact degree of large-scale public building project in urban center, this paper divides traffic impact degree into five grades. According to traffic impact of large-scale public building project on the urban center, this paper establishes the system of evaluation indexes to determine the traffic impact degree, makes each index into quantity and uses the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the weight value of each index. Then this paper applies the model of Matter Element Analysis to evaluate and determine the traffic impact degree of large-scale public building project and proposes some improvement measures to relieve the traffic impact. At last, the theories and methods put forward in this paper are applied in the traffic impact analysis of the ShuangHuaYuan project in Beijing to verify their practicability and rationality.
