The Study On Traffic Impact Analysis New Construction Of Large-Sized Public Building

Land use and traffic of city influence each other. How to harmonize the relationship of them is an important problem of the development of cities. Traffic impact analysis provides a nice estimation measure of balancing relationship between land use and city traffic.Three aspects of traffic impact analysis, i.e. threshold, impact area, and evaluation standard, have been studied with Chengdu city as an example, which provides theory guide and practical basis for carrying on relative policies and rules of traffic impact analysis. Follow is the main work:The research on threshold in traffic impact analysis of the new construction of large-sized public building. First, confirm the factor which influences threshold, and study and establish the classification system and relations framework of threshold, and analyze the applied conditions of different threshold, at last, study calculation method and process of confirming thresholds. At the same time, sum up the method and conclusion of confirming threshold of different cities home and abroad, and give the recommended values of threshold of service level with different locations of Chengdu and their traffic conditions. And the parameters just include mall, hotel and office building these three kinds of public construction items.The research on impact area in traffic impact analysis of the new construction of large-sized public building with the comparing of advantages, disadvantages, and applicability of domestic and foreign determination of impact area, based on the principle of combining quantitative calculation with qualitative analysis, design the impact area's quantitative calculation method, which is based on the study of threshold of service level, and put forward the qualitative analysis principles with consideration of traffic conditions.The research on evaluation standard in traffic impact analysis of The new construction of large-sized public building with the advanced experience of evaluation method in Traffic impact analysis of foreign countries, study the evaluation method which combines monomial evaluation and holistic evaluation, analyses the guideline of monomial evaluation and holistic evaluation, then design the calculation method of monomial evaluation and holistic evaluation and give the recommended value of evaluation standard.At last, empirical research is applied to the traffic impact analysis with the example of Chengdu JunYing Edifice using the above methods.
