The Study On The Layout Of Parking Facilities In The Pedestrian Mall

Because of being one complicated system, the layout of the parking facilities in the pedestrian mall should be studied as viewpoint of system and practice. In order to guide and control the development of traffic, establish smooth, comfortable, prompt and convenient traffic environment, develop the pedestrian mall, it is important to study the layout of the parking facilities in the pedestrian mall through development policies, land-use, dynamic traffic, landscape and so on, on the basis of the features of the pedestrian mall and it's parking system, as the viewpoints of system and practice.The features of the pedestrian mall and its parking system were discussed, while a new classification was put out according to the attributes and mechanism of the parking. And then this paper studied the model of the parking in the pedestrian mall, analyzed the interaction relation between the parking layout and land use, between the parking layout and dynamic traffic system qualitatively and quantitatively.In the course of layout planning, combine the three aspect of macroscopic, middle-level, microcosmic, received the method on the layout planning of parking facilities in the pedestrian mall. In the macroscopic level, considering traffic strategies, land use patterns, the network and landscape design in the pedestrian mall, the method of parking layout was put out. In the middle-level, the locating model with the shortest walking distance as the objective function, was made use of making out the location with a reasonable size. In the microcosmic level, the parking facilities were studied, such as entrances, lane traffic flow, parking design and so on.In the course of the type selection of parking, through analyzing its impact factors, this paper studied how to choose parking construction of three typical facilities in the pedestrian mall.In the course of project appraising, it set up the index system of synthetic evaluation, and then introduced fuzzy judgment.Regarding the layout of the parking facilities in the pedestrian mall of Nanning city as a typical case, this dissertation tested and applied the theories and methods for the layout of the parking facilities in the pedestrian mall, which were mentioned above. The results of the study proved the validity and practicability of the layout of the parking facilities in the pedestrian mall.
