In modern society, the per capita amount of the car turn more and more,whichmeets the needs of people’s shopping and travelling,the environment of the parkingspace has become one of the most important factors for people to choose shoppingplaces.However, the Pedestrian Mall is challenged by motorization,gradually fallinginto decay, Pedestrian Mall’s parking space can not satisfy the needs of parking,Pedestrian Mall’s parking problem is becoming increasingly conspicuous,which greatlyrestricted the development of the pedestrian mall.According to conduct on-the-spot research of Qingdao Taidong Pedestrian Mall,analyse pedestrian Mall’s parking situation, and distribute the survey questionnaires,collate data, collect relevant information, and search the relevant literature of thedomestic pedestrian mall, summarizing the problems of the pedestrian mall’s parkingspace.As the problems of the pedestrian mall’s parking space, planning limitations,explore the way to resolve the problems of the pedestrian mall’s parking space and finda reasonable planning method for pedestrian mall’s parking space.At present, pedestrian mall’s parking space is generally designed as asingle-function space, These parking lot are composed of cheapest asphalt ground andwhite grid, they just have single function to park, which can not give people anyenjoyment, lacking vitality.According to research pedestrian mall’s parking space’s optimization design,improve its status quo of simple design and monotonous style, let pedestrian mall’sparking space ture more humane, more vitality, thereby improve the pedestrian mall’straffic condition and environmental quality, further enrich people’s lives and boom thepedestrian mall’s economy.
