The turbine generator, the important equipment in Qinshan Nuclear Power Company-QNPC, has some deficiency in operation for the original design problem. It will influence to the safety and continual operation of the station. According to the suggestion and communication of the manufacture, QNPC started form the investigation to the related plant. And the feasibility analysis, modification scheme confirmation, the modification produce process surveillance and the spare parts preparation were well done before the modification. At last the modification was implemented and accepted the verification. The thesis introduces the 310MW turbine generator stator modification project of QNPC in NO.10 refueling outage maintenance from October 2007 to January 2008.The generator of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant is double-water internal cooling generator which is designed, studied and manufactured by China in 70's. At the end of the stator the coolant copper pipe leaked during the operation, the temperature of the end partially over-heated during the operation. All of these deficiencies of the generator influence the safe operation of the station. In order to dealing with them and safe, continual operating, QNPC start the partially modification project of the generator stator.The partially modification project of the generator stator should support with the sufficient illustration. That the feasibility analysis of the modification scheme should match with the modification purpose, and how to realize the modification purpose all of these problems should illustrated sufficiently. At last we illustrated that the stator modification is feasible by the finite element analysis and some other scientific calculation and demonstration. It includes the illustration content of the temperature change, the mechanical strengthen influence of the stator end and the main insulation strengthens influence of the generator after the stator modification.With the detailed modification scheme and the correct implementation on site, QNPC perform the generator stator partially modification project successfully. And a series of the test put into practice to verify the generator performance after change. The test includes the no-loads test, short circuit test, 3000r/m speed rotation-impulsing test, combined into grid test, raise power test, the performance record test during the normal operation, and so on. After the modification we draw the conclusion and the feedback experience. There are some left problems, for example, the vibration model of the stator end in cold condition is out of the scope, the temperature of the stator end is a little bit higher during the operation. It is confirmed that all of these problems are under the control after the sufficient cause analysis.Throughout the modification of the generator, station is operating without the above hidden trouble problem now. And realize the raising power capacity purpose. It is demonstrated that the modification is successful.
