Earth-rock dam has advantages of lower requirement to terrain conditions and construction according to circumstances permission. Thus, more and more scientists are engaged in researching it. The seepage stability of the dam foundation is one of the key factors that influences the earth-rock dam safety. Therefore, people have pay more and more attention to the seepage problem of earth-rock dam. In our country, the earth-rock dam holds an important proportion of the reservoir dam, but now the seepage control theories to infinite deep pervious foundation are still not mature and perfect.This paper introduced the basic principle of the boundary element method, several methods of it , and its adaptable areas, then makes use of the BEM on calculating the vertical seepage control of the earth-rock dam, which based on the infinite deep water pervious foundation. We also compile the corresponding computational procedure, and utilize into the project to contrast with the actual reservoir observed data, then confirm the method's reliability. Through the computation, we find that: when the depth of the seepage control wall was different, the quantity of the seepage and the seepage slope changed. And when the position of the seepage control wall was different, it has some influence to the quantity of the seepage and the seepage slope. We hope that this paper can provide a theory basis to the next work.
