The problem of seepage control is one if the main factors that affecting the safety of earth-rock damstability. Along with the dam locations with the good geologic condition gradually are decreasing in ourcountry, many dams which will be developed likely to located on the heterogeneous infinite deep perviousfoundation, therefore, the research of seepage control on earth-rock dam which building on theheterogeneous infinite deep pervious foundation is have more practical significant. In order to meet the safe of the earth-rock dam on the non-homogeneous Infinite Deep PerviousFoundation under the premise of as far as possible to reduce the seepage flow, in this paper using modelexperiment and numerical method for deep step of research on this problem. From the two methodobtained the value of the seepage flow and seepage gradient when using different depth of verticalimpermeable wall, the results were analyzed and discussed. When depth of the vertical impermeable wallis after10times upstream water depth, the trends of reduce dam seepage flow has been slower. At thispoint by increasing the depth of the ways to reduce vertical impermeable wall, its economy could not havebeen accepted. When depth of the vertical impermeable wall is after4times upstream water depth, theseepage gradient will meet the requirements, earth-rock dam safe operation is guaranteed.
