Although building dam in the non-homogeneous infinite deep pervious foundation have its construction period, investment, environmental protection and other advantages, but also has its limitations and technical difficulties. And the seepage problem is the main difficulties of this kind dam safety on the foundation.To discuss the question of non-homogeneous infinitely deep pervious foundation's seepage control, first, this article using finite element method set up a mathematical model to calculate the length of impervious blanket. Obtained numerical value and location of saturation line when using different length of impervious blanket, and the results is analyzed and discussed. And have further studies by doing physical model tests on the issue, contrast verification relation of the impervious blanket and upstream water depth when prevention seepage with the horizontal impervious different length blanket. When the length of the blanket is 22 to 28 times upstream water depth, the dam foundation seepage has been stabilized. At this point by increasing the length of the ways to reduce seepage blanket, its economy could not have been accepted.
