| With the rapid development of electric power industry and Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, The GIS system to meet the requirements of practical distribution should be researched and established, which have important academic and practical values to improve the reliability of distribution power supply. The function modules for Distribution Network based on GIS are explored after analyzing and researching carefully Distribution Network Topology Analysis and fault location.First, the characteristic of Distribution Network is analyzed, and the Distribution Network models and their detailed data management methods based on GIS are proposed. The Distribution Network topology analysis which carries in the GIS map is simplified, has laid the foundation for the fault location realization.Next, the fault location problem on supervise area is studied, and a fault location algorithm based on on the Bayes formula is proposed. The algorithm, which processes the SCADA fault information succinctly and shields the disturbed information influence, compares the fault probability of various sections using the Bayes formula, and it could speed up the fault location accurately with GIS.Then, in the view of the Distribution Network non-supervise area actual situation, a fault location algorithm based on rough set theory is proposed. In the Distribution Network GIS topology foundation, the decision-making table is formed automatically, and an optimized method of reducing decision-making table is given. This method does not need to carry on the complicated computation so that it shortens the time of fault location and has the ability of tolerating errors. Finally, on the basis of the result of the foregoing theoretical research work, this paper develops independently a distribution system GIS platform on which Distribution Network topology analysis and fault location are achieved. At the end of the paper, the practicability of all functions within the system is validated with a practical case. |
