With the rapid development of information technology and network technology, networked manufacturing as a model of modem manufacturing is increasingly becoming a hot field of study and practice. Manufacturing globalization, agile, virtualization, and networking are the development trend of modem manufacturing, global manufacturing, agility and virtualization are indispensable to a web supporting environment. We can say that networked manufacturing is a major trend in the development of modem network-based manufacturing, networked manufacturing will bring a profound change. Networked manufacturing is a advanced manufacturing pattern of the company's main aim to cope with the challenges of globalization and the rapid response to market demand and can improve competitive capability of enterprises (business groups).Based on this background, this article analyzed the network manufacture connotation, the change of the idea and manage way of the enterprise brought by the network manufacture and the existing technology deficiency of CAD software, in view of the mechanical field, one kind of new product coordination design scheme was proposted, namely network manufacture oriented assemblies and parts parameter design. The current status has also been studied. Based on exploring the development orientation of the CAD system, the networked manufacturing parametric design system should have the functional characteristics was summarized. The structure and the Web database structure, the logic of the overall system architecture were particularly designed, and the database technology of Web is also deeply discussed, and then the method of Java Database Connection agreement to the local database was selected. With the research of Parametric modeling system and methods for the parametric design, the combination of the variable geometry of parametric methods and procedures to achieve parametric modeling is proposed. The way and principle to establish product-specific components library of the second development of the CAD system is analyzed. This also paper deeply explored the key technologies of the system, including Web-enabled technology of products data and the model visualization technology of networked products and assembly information mode techniques to create the model. Finally, with the analysis of the application of the necessity reducer parametric design selected the tools of development and applied the corresponding development of technology. Then with the use of MVC design mode, developed the networked manufacturing reducer parametric design system and give the example of the process of the system.The network manufacturing reducer parametric design system of this paper is installed and operated in manufacturing company, good results were acquired. With the use of it, the enterprise can achieve collaborative design reducer rapidly between enterprises or designers and enhances the efficiency and speed up the progress of the design and manufacture of products and reduces the cost and enhances the core competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises.
