| Spraying chamber and drying chamber are the important components of automobile painting production line, and its reasonable structure design makes foundation for painting production line to achieve high productivity. Its structure belongs to a typical non-standard product, which has large workload and low degree of standardization. In the designing and manufacturing process of the spraying chamber and drying chamber, due to the presence of a large number of similar parts, it makes designers engage in a lot of repetitive work and affects the design efficiency. Therefore, this paper aims to combine 3D parametric design with secondary development of SolidWorks and build a set of 3D parametric design software, which is significant for improving the designing efficiency of chamber parts.According to the technical materials of spraying chamber and drying chamber in the painting production line, the 3D parametric design program is raised, which includes using SolidWorks software to complete 3D modeling of parts and assembly and using 3D parametric design technology to drive relevant dimensions of 3D models. Meanwhile, chamber parts’ 3D parametric design system will come out through interactive interface technology and the secondary development of SolidWorks which is based on Visual Basic Programming language. It consists of parts module, drawing module and assembly module. The system can automatically generate 3D models and 2D drawings and implement products’ serialization, standardization and modular design.The development of 3D parametric design software of painting chamber parts will improve design efficiency, reduce work intensity of designers, shorten product development cycle, and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises. |
