The automatic flow balance valve which is widely applied to industry and daily life can control the orifice area of complex intercepting face automatically, ensure a constant output flow to improve performance of the water supply system. Therefore, if the Enterprise wants to Gain larger market share in the field of the automatic flow balancing valve, it is necessary not only to develop advanced technology of manufacturing; but aslo develop CAD/CAM system which is used in the automatic flow balance valve Special mold,by the Platform of CAD.This research subject Realizes in the soft development kit of UG NX4.0, under the VisualC++6.0 development environment, through a series combined use of secondary development, I designed Special mold of automatic flow balance valve, and develop it to mould database which conforms to market demand, Detailed study as follows:1) Firstly worked out the manufacturing processes of four key parts of automatic flow balance valve. secondly designed Special mold of the four key parts, 4 kinds of molds are generally divided into two categories: die mold and casting mold, This research subject describes the general design process and the production technology of this two types mold, and the choice of production equipment.2) The article intensive studied the related content of the secondary development on UG. Include: customisation technology of Menu Script; the method of using UG/Open UIStyler to design UG standard dialog box; the technology of user interface and development program; the interface method of VC++6.0 development tools and UG NX4.0 application program; the method of creating three-dimensional parametric mould database based on UG, and analyzed and compared their respective characteristics.3) Using the basic methods of software engineering, pointing to automatic flow balance valve mold CAD system, The article offered the rapid development of automatic flow balancing valve mold design CAD system program, include the needs analysis, Implementation of the principle, aim-oreinted approach and other aspects. The system consists of three modules: Automatic Flow Control Valves mould database, mold assembly module, two-dimensional drawings of all parts of the module. based on the analysis of the characteristics of each module, The article seted up different development methods of different modules and process flow chart of achieve requirements.4) The paper also introduced dialog box, application design, creating dynamic link library of the rapid development of automatic flow balancing valve mold design CAD system, and Solved the core issue of every mold of the CAD system, including mould database dialog dynamic control, mold components to create and access the module object approach, the assembly module WAVE geometric realization of the link function, the dynamic given initial value, etc.; Finally, using the user menu examples introduced the Application of the rapid development of automatic flow balancing valve mold CAD system.
