Many research in China and abroad has indicated that, there are interaction relations between urban transportation system and land utilization. However to solve them both coordinately is the basic method to solve transportation question. Therefore, doing research on the mutual affection function mechanism between the city land utilization and the transportation system systematically and comprehensively, has very important value to explore the root why transportation problems emerge and has the model function to solve them.The urbanization in China is in the accelerating period, the urban population inflates and people's income rises day by day in steady steps, that cause the city developed in high speed and density; and that the transportation demand increased sharply; and that the motorization advancement speeds up rapidly; and that the city transportation system transform by take walks and bicycles as the main constitution traditional structure into the motorization structural. Urbanization and motorization's dual influence caused serious problems between transportation and land utilization. Compared with cities in west countries. the question faced with China is how to develop motor vehicles to fit city arrangement, so as no to follow the beaten track of industrial cities. We can draw lessons from researches based on the foreign cities in west countries, but these researches can not completely suit the condition of China.This paper take the transportation problem which affects the urban development as an objective point, and take the municipal transportation and the land utilization reciprocity as the entrance. draw lessons from the domestic and foreign experts' correlation theories and the method. carries on the analysis and the summary to the overseas municipal transportation system and the land utilization reciprocity elementary theory and the practice. Take Xi'an as the example, analysis the question between the high density land development and the transportation system; and unifies the land utilization along the two line route of Xi'an subway, discuss the suitable situation of the Transit-Oriented-Development from the stratification plane of the city urban structure, district land development and neighborhood land development. |
