With the development of the highroad, the nature resource of pavement will decrease little by little, besides, it also destroy the environment because of the over exploitation of the pavement. Due to the side-effect of pollution and waste of energy, when product, transport and storage of some pavement such as lime and cement, the cost for road building increase dramatically. The territory of our country is vast and complicated. And there is only the limited resource of soil could be used in some places, for lack of the stone and high cost for transport of it. It will be the most important issues to make the best use of the local resource of soil, to balance the environment destroy and economic develop, to use the nature resource and protect the environment. In recent years study has been carried out for it, but got little fruits.Soil-Solidified Agent is one of the important pavements, including the liquid Soil-Solidified Agent and Solid Soil-Solidified Agent. The Solid Soil-Solidified Agent was made of cementation of cement or lime combined with some chemicals, which has some special properties such as high water stability, freeze-resistance, or sepecial water reducing and sand consolidation, so it could be used in certain place and parts of the road. Many soil-stabilizer were introduced from other countries could not be applied into the work due to the different technical practice, climates and soil properties.This study was done with three kinds of soil-stabilizers, solidifed enzyme EN-1, RDS (American), and Soil-Solidified Agent ZL-1(Sonyyuan, China). Theirproperties were studied by compare datas of lab experiments, and outside road testing.Solidifed enzyme RDS-8 is fit for soil which contained above 20% granule. It will improve the water stability of clay, power soil and other kind of the granule. But it will spend more than 3 years to form the good properties of water stability and intensity.2-3%,no more than 4% of lime could be mixed when the granules which was stabilized by the solidifed enzyme RDS-8 was used as roadbase Material, which will improve the former intensity and water stability, as a result the stone was formed from the RDS-8 solidifed enzyme stabilized soil in short time.The solidifed enzyme RDS-8 is kind of catalyzer in the formation of the intensity of the stabilized soil. The right dose is 0.016-0.025 ml/Kg.Roadbase Material of RDS-8 solidifed enzyme stabilized soil combined with lime has good properties such as high intensity and good carrying capacity, which could shorten building time, and enhance working efficiency.It will improve the stability of it to mix RDS-8 solidifed enzyme stabilized granule with 5-30% detritus, and there is no demand on its standard, grade and intensity.After sprayed the RDS-8 solidifed enzyme, it must be mixed well, kept more than 12h.The compaction is at least 98%.RDS-8 solidifed enzyme stabilized soil is fit for the drought place and high traffic flow road.RDS-8 solidifed enzyme combined with little lime stabilized granule is fit forhigh-grade road, secondary or below secondary roadbase.Soil-Solidified Agent ZL-1 mixed combined with little inorganic materials could stabilize the granule road base, which has good properties of intensity, water stability, flexure-resistance and shrinking-resistance. It is fit for high-grade, secondary or below secondary roadbase.
