International Maritime Organization (IMO) denotes it clearly in STCW (International Convention on Standards of Training Certification and Watching for Seafarers) that engineers must be trained with artificial simulator. With the implementation of STCW78/95, it is particularly important that engineers master the technological and professional knowledge of air condition system. So the market is becoming greater and greater for the demand of ship air condition simulator.Firstly, the writer introduces the development and current situation of the domestic and international ship air condition simulator. Secondly, following the principle of simplicity and convenience, the author takes the advantage of the computer software and designs a set of PC-based simulator. Because it is awfully suitable for self-study, the simulator becomes favorable teaching tool.Air condition system is an independent and important system in one ship. In the thesis, based on the Teaching and Training Ship of Dalian Maritime University, the author synthesizes and analyzes the typical characteristics of the other ship air conditions, then according to the dynamic process of ship air condition system, sets up its mathematical model and realizes the simulation of the ship air condition on computer. During the process of simulation, the primary task is to set up the mathematical model describing the system of the ship air condition system. The ship air condition system can be divided into two parts: one is the compressor, condenser, evaporator and accessories; the rest includes monitoring, protection, alarm, operation devices as well as devices regulating the operation of the air condition system. Therefore, the mathematical model of the ship air condition system has also two parts: one is a dynamic mathematical model used to simulate the compressor, condenser, evaporator, accessories and a mathematical model for system dynamic state; the other is a logical and monitoring mathematical model simulating the protection, alarm operation and monitoring of the ship air condition system. The author uses Visual C# computer language and GDI+ graphics programming to develop and complete the system. The database of this system is constructed with Microsoft Access 2000. After several months' analysis, design and coding, the author has already achieved the goal of initial design. This software has been completed with...
