Shipping plays a pivotal role in the global trade.During the winter sailing,the ship follows the channel opened by the icebreaker to reduce the risk of being trapped by ice,but this process will increase the risk of collisions.So ship following research is necessary.The Internet of ships is gradually infiltrating into the shipping industry.Therefore has a universal and important role in fleet navigation.In the course of the ship navigation,ship communication is also the focus of the research.Navigation communication is now the object of many people’s attention.This has more safety for ship navigation.During the navigation,in some high latitudes,cold weather in winter makes the surface freeze,making most ships unable to navigate safely in areas with sea ice.With growing transport volumes of the sea ice environments,icebreaker operations such as convoys have become increasingly critical to ensure navigation safety.This thesis proposes two methods for traffic modeling and data processing: multi-ship following model based on ice-covered water,multi-ship following model is considering internet of vessels.For the above two models,the following research results have been achieved:(1)A multi-ship following model for icebreaker operations is proposed,and the modeling principle of the vehicle following model proposed earlier is used.The ship following model is taking into account the safe distance and safe speed model parameters of the fleet navigation in the ice zone.The model provides a theoretical reference to icebreaker escort operations and can assist in the actual use of the ship’s navigation simulator.The simulation results show that the multi-ship simulation result of the model in good agreement with the empirical data.(2)A multi-ship following model based on ship networking is proposed.The model considers the multi-ship following navigation of the icebreaker escort under communication conditions.The model combines the influence of ice on the navigation of the ship and the impact on communication with the navigation safety of the ship,and analyzes the linear stability of the model to obtain more accurate and reasonable result.The simulation results show that the stability simulation results of the model are better than those without communication,and multi-ship simulation results of the model have less error from the empirical data.Finally,the author summarizes the work of the full thesis and its shortcomings,and discusses the future research work.
