| The vehicle traveling data recorder is a digital electronic record device that can record and store the vehicle state information, such as vehicle running speed, time, and mileage. It can remind and urge drivers to drive safely; it plays an important role in many aspects, such as the prevention of road traffic accidents, the protection of traffic safety, the improvement of the operating management level.Based on the analysis of the results of other people's research, this paper which combines the advanced embedded technology, the GPRS wireless communication technology and the GPS technology effectively brings forward an embedded design of the vehicle traveling data recorder based on a microprocessor --AT91R40008. Beyond to the request of GB, the recorder this paper studies adds the function of GPS and GPRS, which helps to realize the long-distance real-time monitoring of traveling vehicles. The focus of this paper: form the system design; discuss the project of various functional modules; the hardware platform design; the transplantation of uClinux on AT91R40008; the data structure design of the system software, the design process of the main function module, the realization of PPP on uClinux system and the definition of the data transmission format.The system was developed under the platform of ADS and linux. It was implemented in hardware and reached the anticipated effect. At last the paper proposes a further conception of the new system. |
