The Drive Recorder Design And Research, Based On Arm's New Car

With the development of the automobile electron and modern traffic,The Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder has already been chased and progressed into the electronic field of the automobile,has already become an indispensable part of modern transportation. It can record the state that can be analyzed to appraise the traffic accident,improve the capability of the law of traffic administration,ensure the vehicle operation security.This design is to increase functions,such as GPRS,GPS,etc. On the basis of original recorder. Utilizing the vehicle navigating and positioning data and the status messages of vehicle,while the operatorcan also send a lot of remote-controlling commands to the vehicle. These messages are mainly sent and received by the digital channel provided by GPRS.First of all the paper describes the important significance of the vehicle traveling data recorder and research status at home and abroad.Through hard work of study on GPS technique and the ARM embedded hardware platform,and comparing the service, accessing mode of GPRS with the other wireless transporting mode,this paper provides a vehicle recorder system solution by utilizing the GPRS SMS (short message service) to transport the vehicle messages, monitoring center messages.Then this paper elaborates software and hardware design of the vehicle recorder system. System includes the GPS data collection,GPRS part,display, keystoke and communications with PC etc.it provides the orientation and monitoring of the vehicle.
